Day 1 : CCU / SHILLONG
Arrive Shillong – Umroi Airport . A Hill Station at Height of 5,000 Feet above Sea Level.
Transfer to Shillong Hotel. Check in , Freshen up & rest. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2 : SHILLONG to Cherrapunji ( 55 Kms - 1 hour & 15 Minutes )
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Cherrapunji , sits neatly on the edge of the Himalayas towering the pancake low lying plains of Bangladesh. This alluring village was once regarded as the wettest place on the earth given the massive monsoon rainfall that it sees.. The lush green surroundings of Cherrapunjee justifies the Meghalaya’s over-used ‘Scotland of the East’

Check in to Hotel. Later Transfer to Seven Sisters Fall ( 3 Kms 15 Minutes ) - Located 1 km south of Mawsmai Village, these magnificent seven-segmented falls are among the most popular tourist places in Meghalaya. This is among the highest waterfalls in the country. The water streams come flowing from the middle of the dense forest and plummet down the plateau from a height of 315 meters, creating a heavenly sight worth capturing in cameras and hearts.

After Visit - Mawsmai Cave ( 5 Kms – 20 Minutes ). It is one of the most accessible caves in & among the most revered landmarks in Cherrapunji. This limestone cave is beautiful in its own different manner & is one of the most interesting Meghalaya tourist places.

Later Return to Hotel & Enjoy the Weather / Explore Village on your own. Overnight .

Day 3 : CHERRAPUNJI

Breakfast in the hotel.
Visit - NOHKALIKAI WATER FALLS - Tallest waterfall in India . Standing 1115 feet tall, this spectacular waterfall is a wonder of nature in itself. There are also some interesting legends associated with this place which make it all the more interesting.
Later Visit - Garden of Caves ( 16 Kms - 40 Minutes )
Known by the locals as Ka Bri Ki Synrang, the Garden of Caves is total of 14 waterfalls that fall into crystal-like ponds & The park is surrounded by an actual, dense jungle. Spend time here getting a stunning view of the towering, mesmerising waterfalls as you walk across the bamboo bridge of the park.

Later afternoon - Return to Hotel & explore Cherrapunji weather. Overnight

Day 4 - Cherrapunji / SHILLONG
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to DYMPEP VIEW POINT & DUWAN SING SYIEM VIEW POINT
( 24 Kms – 45 Minutes - On way to Shillong ). Most scenic place in Meghalaya Mawkdok Dympep Valley. An abode of clouds, shrouded by the blankets of velvety green vegetation – the beauty of this valley is ecstatic in the truest sense. A viewpoint at Duwan Sing Syiem Bridge is the best spot from where you can witness the breathtaking vistas of this valley.

Later Transfer to Shillong. Check in to Hotel & Freshen up.

Evening Transfer to Shillong Centre - POLICE BAZAAR - shopping .This modern marketplace features modern and traditional shops, multi-cuisine restaurants and hotels. Range of products including an exclusive collection of apparels, local artifacts, and handicrafts that can be found here, the market is popular among locals and tourists alike.

Day 6 - Shillong / Mawlynnong Village / Dawki / Shillong - Total 10 Hours
Early Breakfast in the hotel.
Visit Mawlynnong Village : 73 Kms ( 2 & half Hours )
Mawlynnong, was awarded the title “cleanest village in Asia” by Discover India in 2003 .
It has 100 % percent literacy rate.

Transfer to downtown - Lady Hydari Park - 3 Kms – 15 Min.
Named after the wife of the first governor of Assam, Landscaped gardens built with the basis of Japanese garden style in mind, the place has many ponds dotting the area .Housing a mini zoo in itself, the Lady Hydari Park is home to many species like Jackal, Himalayan black bear, porcupine Leopard, Serow and Deer, and birds like Hornbill, Kite, and Mynah etc. There is also a museum in the park, making this place a complete experience
